Ben Baker | Professional Keynote Speaker | Brand Expert | Consultant

Hello, I created this 3-minute video to introduce myself to you. https://youtu.be/tBK5iegL_RE My name is Ben Baker, and for more than 20 years now, my mission has been to help develop and tell my client's stories in compelling ways so that people listen, understand and engage. I believe in stories. Every brand, whether it is personal or that of a company, has a unique story to tell that, engages their particular audience, draws them in, helps them to understand the value of the brand and creates a tool for that brand's story to be retold. It is my job to help people find their story and tell it in ways that are compelling, authentic and memorable. The stories I tell are relevant, engaging, compelling and repeatable. The goal is to invite people to be part of something they want, value and need and demonstrate how my clients can fulfil that need. As a speaker, I do the same thing. I work with my clients to understand what their objectives are, what their brand is about and who their audience is. I want to develop talks that speak directly to the audience in front of me. . . to involve them and let them learn through being part of the process. The biggest challenge that I hear from organizers is that speakers that they have hired in the past have been inspiring, but there has been no message. They have not taught their clients anything, they have not left them with anything to think about, nor they have not provided actional items that they can use moving forward. MY MISSION IS TO CHANGE THAT! Speaking is not just about people feeling good while you are talking to them. . . it is giving the audience something tangible that they can relate to and work on long after I have left the room. My goal is always to bring value to those who hire me. I want to understand what their objectives are and who the people are in the room are so I can tailor a talk to the audience. Successful events are ones that people come back to, and the reason they come back is that they learn something new. Let me work with you to build a successful event. Let me tell stories that engage your audience, give them tangible tools they can use and demonstrate the value of your brand. I look forward to working with you. Ben Baker PS my book “Powerful Personal Brands: a hands-on guide to understanding yours” will be out the Summer of 2018. www.yourbrandmarketing.com/author I HAVE THREE TALKS THAT RESONATE WITH DIFFERENT AUDIENCES: • Human Resources: “The Invisible Audience” • Sales: “Being Unique in a Cookie Cutter World” • Leadership: “Telling the Story of Change” You can find information on all three talks at my website listed below:

Amazing presentation, Ben was incredibly engaging and interesting. I found him to be the most valuable guest speaker that a prof has brought in.

E.W., PANEL MODERATOR, SFU MARKETING IN FOCUS, NOV 2017
It was amazing to have such an experienced professional speak.

From my initial meeting with Ben and having him on my panel at Marketing in Focus, it was amazing to have such an experienced professional speak on our panel. He emphasized the importance of story telling which I think made a lasting impression for all the students who attended and his passion was really contagious and inspirational for others. He was a great speaker as well, always willing to answer questions and give insight to students. Many students including myself really found it valuable to have him on our panel for Branding and Strategy since he had different experiences from the other panelists and was able to network with students as well after the panel! I am glad that he was able to speak at our event and bring up personal experiences to help guide students and provide insight on the world of marketing.
